One of our awesome interns this summer is Jill Loebs, who is entering her senior year at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the fall and is a member of the field hockey team. Jill had the opportunity to speak at the sold-out River Hawk Open on Thursday, which celebrates and supports women’s athletics at UMass Lowell.Jeanne D’Arc is proud to support UMass Lowell athletics and local students, from sponsoring events to funding scholarships and having these internships. We’re glad Jill has had the opportunity to show these UMass Lowell athletic supporters exactly how their contributions have affected student athletes, both on and off the field. Well done, Jill!

Our team at Jeanne D’Arc is committed to supporting meaningful causes in our community! 🌟 Last week, some of our employees dedicated their time to volunteering at the Wish Project, an organization that provides essential goods and support to families in need across the Greater Lowell area. By sorting donations, organizing supplies, and lending a helping hand, we're honored to contribute to their mission of making a direct impact on local lives. Together, we're building a stronger, more caring community. 🤝💙

We understand how important education is for a lifetime of wellness, including financial wellness. Local nonprofit On The Move, Inc. strives to close the achievement gap by bringing age appropriate books that are of interest to the kids, and our Financial Wellness team spent time last week working with them. Together, they brought books to young students at McAuliffe Elementary School in Lowell, and their adorable smiles make it worth it.

Last week, a group of Jeanne D’Arc employees spent time volunteering for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank’s Community Market program. The program provides free fresh food to residents of the Lowell Housing Authority properties, Chelmsford Senior Housing, and Dracut Senior Housing as a supplement to grocery purchases. In a time when inflation is high and fixed incomes are stretched to their limits, a service that provides fresh produce at no cost is needed more than ever. We were glad to spend a few hours lending a hand!

Our newest teammates had a chance to meet with Mark Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer, and the other members of the Jeanne D’Arc executive team this Wednesday. It was a chance for the new hires and executives to put names to faces and get to know one another, and allowed the new hires to learn about the Credit Union’s mission and culture directly from leadership in a friendly, open environment. Congratulations to our new teammates, and thank you to the executive team for having these meet & greets!
